About McIntosh Farms
The McIntosh Family first arrived in South Carolina in 1720. They settled here and after the revolution they planted corn and cotton. Later, they planted tobacco for 110 consecutive years. Still continuing the family tradition, my husband, At, and our family continue to live on the farm. He is an eighth generation cotton farmer. The acres of farm land reside in Clarendon and Williamsburg County, South Carolina. The farm continues to thrive on cotton, corn, and peanuts.
We recently enjoyed refurbishing an 1800s farm house on the property. My husband continues to farm the land. We enjoy living on the land and creating products at the farm. At currently produces a line of American made shirts from the cotton he grows through the clothing line Homegrown Cotton. I am an artist creating original oil paintings on the farm.
The farm is a beautiful stretch of land. The farmhouse and land inspire many creations. This lifestyle blog will be full of design, products, and creations straight from our farm to your home.
